RBSkate camp is absolutely one-of-a-kind! It's owned and operated by a full-time teacher who is passionate about skateboarding and teaching. The camp uses skateboarding as a metaphor for life's challenges, teaching campers to overcome obstacles and failures with practice, focus, and a bit of risk-taking. And the best? Campers get to learn at their own pace, guided by a real-life school teacher who loves to skateboard. It's an experience like no other!
Q. How do I pay? Do not pay through this site. Call me, we will discuss this over the phone. Payments will be made via PayPal. This site only provides the package prices for your information only.
Q. Is lunch provided with extended-length packages? No, campers will need to pack their lunches. If lunches are lost or forgotten, I'll cover the cost. Your child will not go hungry under my care. Of course, this is an exception and not the rule.
Q. Where do I buy the board and safety pads? I will travel to a nearby skate shop and provide you a free consultation. I wanna make sure you get a solidly built board with good parts. Buying prebuilt boards isn't always the best route.

Q. What if I need to cancel? Call me and we'll work it out.

Q. Where do the lessons take place? At Cunningham Action Sports complex near Raging waters and Lake Cunningham or Milpitas Skate park near the back of Milpitas sports center.
Q. Do I have to do all days consecutively? No. I want you to have the flexibility to choose what works for your child. Keep in mind that consecutive practice helps while learning this sport.
Q. Can I schedule them on the weekdays only? Yes, I'll be off on weekends.
Q. Will my child be taking unnecessary risks and get hurt? As with anything, there is a risk of injury. I never let any of my students try things that are above them. We normally skate around, have fun and keep it fun and safe. The protective equipment will minimize injuries down to a few bumps and or scrapes.
Q. What should your child wear to the camp sessions? Anything that is comfortable given the weather. Clothing is based on preference, comfort, and flexibility. Keep in mind it's summer so light cloth

Q. What do I bring to each session? Comfortable clothing, plenty of water/snack bag, and all your equipment(skateboard and pads)

Q. Can a parent stay for the session? Of course. There are plenty of covered benches al throughout the park to sit and watch while under shade.
Q. Will my child have other campers in his/her session? Hopefully. I'll try my best to align campers together so we can have group sessions. One-on-one works great as well because it's personalized instruction and attention.
